Heya! We have so much in common, we’re both humans and we share this weird, fun, exciting, mysterious, complicated and lovely human experience we call life.
I am so happy you’re here and that my silly little drawing account found you in some magical way.
I usually talk about universal human stuff in my works, but I want to share a little bit more about myself and the human I am. Thanks for being here!
I was born in Poland in the year 2000. I always loved to draw as a kid. My favourite thing to do was creating fictional superheroes, football players and wrestlers. I also loved making fictional maps, computer games (on paper) and writing short stories and little comic ‘books’.
When I was 13, I got accepted into an art secondary school, but since my mom was teaching maths there, I convinced myself I got the spot purely because of my surname (which was obviously not true). So I put my pencils and crayons down for a good 10 years, believing I don’t know how to draw!
After graduating high school, I moved to Denmark in 2019 for university. It was lovely! I met so many inspiring people, and that’s when I reopened myself creatively and started doodling again.
Now I work as a creative in an advertising agency in Poland, where I came back in 2024 after five years of living abroad. And here I am! 🙂
I always had a strong urge to create and post online. I was too young when Vine was a thing (sadly), but I always loved being online and watched a lot of YouTube.
After a tough break up, I found myself living alone again and trying to find some light in those darker times. That’s when I started turning my thoughts about how complex life is into drawings. I drew the guy with the =) face and a speech bubble, and that’s how Human Experience was born in May 2024!
I was anxious at first, but I kept posting. I made 100 drawings in 100 days! That was a challenge. I slowly started gaining engagement, and suddenly I was receiving tons of positive feedback about how my drawings were helping people through difficult moments…
…and that’s when I realised what I truly want to do in life. I want to inspire, cheer people up, but also ask questions and gently provoke you to explore your own perspectives.
With Human Experience, I want to spread a little beam of sun into this often cloudy everyday we all go through. I want to help others and create a safe space where we all feel like one big human family, because we are.
Thank you so much for being here and for reading this far. Thank you for building this lovely community and for showing your vulnerability in the comments and DMs. Stay awesome, and have the bestest human experience!
